The announced Masterplan Mobility is not turning, but largely a step backwards.
As highlighted by the cost: Die A 52 would ca. 1 cost-billion € in Essen. The sensible measures public transport, charging infrastructure, municipal fleet, Bike paths cost only a fraction of it, but as the basic building blocks of mobility turn be represented. Apropos A 52 completed in tunnel: Since when a city may determine, such as motorway construction, if they do not even pay? So far, that is not so. From such a hot iron should the let fingers. Other roads, especially highways, Incidentally move the car upward portion, instead of reducing it.
This is all known and yet it is written in a master plan. It can be a try again, Perhaps the readers of the master plan are so stupid.
